We can offer many opportunities for volunteers and include full training.

COMMUNITY PARTNERS
We collaborate with many different organisations on a regular basis and welcome the opportunity to work with as many groups and professionals as possible. Please get in touch via the Contact Us page if you would like to talk to us about how we can work together.
We have great relationships with a number of local schools and can offer support services including training packages for staff and parents.
SEND ROUNDTABLE SURVEY
We were recently invited to take part in a roundtable discussion with Jon Pearce MP. We would like to be able to collate views from as many families in the High Peak area affected by the current situation with regards to the Education system and SEND.
"At Connect, one of the biggest concerns our parent carers have is the current state of the Education system, particularly in relation to SEND.
We welcomed this opportunity to come together and speak to Jon and his team about those concerns and also to explore potential solutions.
We feel very strongly that the current laws that protect our children and families are sufficient, and that any reforms must retain the legal rights of parents, along with the right of appeal.
Instead, we feel that it is the interpretation and accountability of statutory services that needs to change, with local authorities being held to account over decisions and timeliness.
We have created a survey for parents and children in the High Peak to submit their thoughts; the link can be found here;
